1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using TheEventConnector.com — whether as a registered vendor or as an attendee submitting a contact form — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. What TheEventConnector Provides

TheEventConnector is a lead-capture platform: registered vendors create events and share a per-event link or QR code, and attendees submit their contact information through a public form tied to that event. We provide the platform itself; we are not a party to, and do not control, the business relationship between a vendor and the attendees who submit a form to them.

3. Vendor Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for the content you attach to your events and public forms (company description, products, contact details, branding).
• You are responsible for how you use the lead data your events collect, including complying with applicable telemarketing, email, and data protection laws in your own outreach to attendees.
• We may suspend or terminate a vendor account that misuses the platform, including to collect data unrelated to a legitimate event or to contact attendees for purposes other than what was disclosed at submission.

4. Attendee Submissions

Submitting a public contact form is optional and requires your affirmative consent to be contacted, as described at the point of submission. Submitted information is shared with the specific vendor hosting that event — see our Privacy Policy for how it's collected, used, and protected.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the platform.
• Use the platform to collect data for spam, unsolicited bulk contact, or any purpose beyond legitimate event lead capture.
• Attempt to access another vendor's account, data, or events without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's normal operation.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data submitted through it will always be delivered or retained.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheEventConnector is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between vendors and attendees, lost leads, or business decisions made based on submitted data.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
